Here at The Decisive Moment we have noticed a new trend with our beautiful brides… Cigars?

Yes, once the man’s dominion only, cigars have been taken over by our modern and sassy ladies!

For many years, this was a traditional way for the Grooms to celebrate the big day… but our Brides have now gotten in on the action! And yes, even Bridesmaids!

Suddenly, (and we do mean suddenly!) we had not one but THREE brides enjoying a puff or two in their Bridal gowns.

Say what you will, we think it makes for a just smashing photograph!

Events With Grace

Lauren Brewton from Events with Grace, recently worked on a wedding with us for Rebecca Allman and Trip Doster at The Capital City Club, Brookhaven.

Jenni Girtman and Mikki Harris got some really perfect images!

As you can see, Rebecca looked just radiant and Lauren did a wonderful job creating a day that really reflected who the couple is.

When I looked at the pictures I said… That couple looks like fun, I wish I was there! And isn’t that what it is all about?

Spring weddings are really popular for a good reason; the South is gorgeous in the spring. We can’t think of a better place to celebrate than the elegant and secluded Ritz Carlton at Lake Oconee!

We had a number of intimate weddings at The Ritz over the spring months and every one of them was beautiful! The staff, including the awesome Jill Harris, have all been great to work with!

Lula Theriot….Now that is Sweet!

Don’t you love wedding cake?? For some people (ahem, JES…), it is their favorite part of a wedding!! We love an over the top cake in pictures and this one is great!!

Mark Brickman at Bakers Man really went all in on Emily and Scott’s gorgeous cake!!

Their whole day was beautiful and the cake is a perfect topper! Oh, and look at the topper; New Orleans all the way…. very sweet! Congratulations Emily and Scott!
