It is very true that the dress is an essential part of the wedding.
I mean, there is a whole show on TLC devoted to wedding dresses! (I am mildly obsessed with that show by the way… another sign that we really do love weddings!)
At any rate, I love this dress! It is a lovely champagne color which is just unexpected enough, and it looks so gorgeous in Holy Spirit.
And lest I forget the gorgeous bride that wore it! Kimberly and Michael congratulations on an amazing celebration!

Badfinger!

Surprises at a wedding can be of the good variety (a gift from your groom, a serende, a secret groom’s cake!) or the bad variety (a rip in your dress, an uninvited guest, an objection at the ceremony!).
Contrary to the name, Badfinger was a very good surprise for Dori and Ryan!
Dori’s mom, surprised the happy couple with a visit from the legendary 70′s band Badfinger! How cool is that?
Now that is a happy surprise! Congrats Dori and Ryan, we loved being a part of all your wedding day surprises!

I might be a TINY bit biased, but I LOVE Magnolia Hall. I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I was married there 
Bess and Simon had a gorgeous ceremony at Peachtree Presbyterian and a fun and elegant reception at Magnolia Hall thanks to some help from one of our favorite coordinators Courtney Surber Paz!

Centerpieces are not just for flowers!

Jenn and Jason celebrated a perfect evening filled with lots of laughter and creative details! Rather than flowers, the centerpieces were simple and elegant wrapped books and the guest seating cards were library check out slips. Just ingenious!
We loved seeing all the personal touches at this wedding! Thank you to Jenn and Jason for letting us be a part of it all!
