It has been an amazing season here at The Decisive Moment! We were so fortunate to be a part of so many celebrations and to document couples and families as they start a new story together! I will admit we have fallen behind on our blog but only because we were so busy making sure everything else was ready right on time! As we look back over this season there are SO many stories that I want to celebrate and share… so here we go. One wonderful celebration at a time!
Adam loved working with Brittney & Mark and capturing their story. From Adam and Mark’s shared passion for all things weather related to the love of Charleston we all share, this wedding was fantastic! We are SO thankful we were able to capture this gorgeous celebration and document this amazing couple. Not only did it produce some beautiful images but truly created two new beautiful friends.

When we hired Adam to be our photographer, we couldn’t wait to see what he would produce. He traveled from Atlanta to be with us in Charleston because we just HAD to have him with us. He was there every step of the way to answer questions for us and make sure that he knew just what we wanted for our big day. On the day of the wedding, he was such a sounding board for my husband and I and it was so nice to not only have a photographer, but a friend there with us. We absolutely cannot wait to see the pictures Adam created for us and we know they will be breathtaking!

We are excited to share with you a recent surprise Engagement that was photographed by Decisive Moment photographer Adam Linke. After having met at CNN, Matt and Adeline fell madly in love and are now engaged! To Adeline’s surprise, Matt set up a surprise engagement photo session in Piedmont Park. Adam hid quietly nearby to capture this special moment for the couple. Take a look at the slideshow of the engagement session that was featured on CNN International’s 4th of July show. Kudos to Matt who brilliantly brought along a suitcase of clothes for his new fiance to choose from for post engagement pictures!!

Every so often, (actually with my job quite often) a moment takes me by surprise and reminds me to appreciate how important our job is! Watching Sonika and Jigars wedding slideshow was one of those magical moments for me. Not only is it a stunning wedding with a beautiful bride and incredible details but SO much more. It is a documentation that brings so much rich emotion to life! The heartfelt appreciation for their family, the gratitude for their guests and their very clear passion for each other brought me to tears! Jenni Girtman and Jessica McGowan did an amazing job documenting this celebration at the Emory Conference Center. What an honor it is to be a part of capturing these moments, emotions and treasures and presenting them to such a lovely couple!

To say “a picture is worth a thousand words” is the first thing that came to mind when watching the Anne and Mike’s wedding slideshow for the first time. It is amazing how Jessica McGowan captured the grace, classiness, and pure happiness in the images. This couple had been friends for over 20 years before finally tying the knot, and the emotion captured as she walks to meet her groom for the very first time in her life is nothing short of utter exuberance. Our friend and the wedding planner of Anne and Mike’s wedding, Susan Graham with Susan Graham Signature Events exclaims, “I am not sure if I’ve ever felt such a tender and authentic sweetness at any other wedding before”, and after viewing the photos from this slideshow, I couldn’t help but feel the same way.
