Okay fans, time to tell you all a story. A love story, to be exact. But not the usual Disney-inspired thematic and certainly not the cheesy stuff. This is Operation Wedding – a viewer-voted couple chosen to enjoy a wedding day celebration by some of the coolest wedding vendors in the city. The wedding was coordinated and covered by Fox 5 Atlanta, which in our opinion, is exactly the kind of “news” we want to watch!
Not only were we thrilled to get involved with the initiative to give back to our service men and women, but we were honored to give this particular couple the gift of memories.
The (extremely handsome) couple is Staff Sergeant Ancil Christopher and Miss Tamika Russell. The selection below is some of our favorite moments of the day – a sentimental glance at herself before Tamika walks down the aisle, the joy in their eyes as they looked at each and said their vows and the elation that reads all over their faces as they face their friends and family as a Mr. & Mrs.!
