special moment of our wedding day. Their job was to tell a story and what
a amazing story they told with his great work. Thanks again for giving me the
pictures of a lifetime!” Jenny Yost – Madanat
A huge perk of documenting “I Do’s” (for us) is the feeling that we’ve gained new friends and family. It’s absolutely unavoidable to feel a special connection to them when you’ve literally been studying their faces and documenting their emotional interactions all day and for such an important occasion.
So, it’s no secret that we’re excited to share a story we feel like we were a special part of–especially when it’s such a fun family. “Jenny is a total sweetheart,” Adam remembers, of the couple who said their vows at the lovely Ashton Gardens. “And Amer was absolutely hilarious.”
Adam also loved how family-centered this celebration was. Both Jenny and Amer are from clans with plenty of siblings, plus an adorable mother-of-the-bride who made it her goal to make everything perfect and keep everyone together on the big day. We loved our time with this family and documenting their celebration was a wonderful treat for us.
Even better, “They loved their pictures,” Adam says, laughing. “They were so excited to share them with everyone that Amer wanted to send the slideshow link during the premiere party and Jenny told him to chill. It doesn’t get any better than that for a photographer!”
We won’t chill though – check out this fun collection of our favorites from their big day!

Fun Fact:
After this wedding we deemed 2013 as DM’s year of baseball! The father of the bride, is the manager for The Kansas City Royals (yes – we are talking Major League Baseball), who just happens to be a former assistant coach to Atlanta paternal pastime figure, Bobby Cox (former Manager of the Braves). We photographed Bobby’s daughter’s wedding just weeks earlier! Funny story, these lifelong friends both chose Adam as their photographer, without even knowing it!
