Katie + Chris| Frederica Boathouse, Sea Island Wedding

The idea of saying goodbye to summer and heading into fall is bittersweet for us here at The Decisive Moment.  We can’t help but cling to some of the gorgeous wedding celebrations we photographed under the sun!  To celebrate, we bring you the ultimate summer wedding!  So, grab your fanciest flip flops as we head to the stunning Sea Island Wedding of Katie & Chris!

Katie and Chris both had fond memories of family trips to Saint Simons Island, so what better place to bring the families together and say I Do!  With a ceremony at the beautiful Wesley United Methodist Church surrounded by oak groves adorned with spanish moss to the picturesque Frederica Boathouse this wedding was island perfection!  The gorgeous, and I mean GORGEOUS, flowers were done by Julie Driscoll of Garden on the Square in Savannah, GA.  A simple yet equisitely elegant cake was created by Mary Ann Daniels of I Do Cakes in Brunswick, GA.  The day was beautifully orchestrated by the wonderful Caroline Carter of Caroline Carter Events!  A dream team of vendors under a perfect summer sky made celebrating this fabulous couple a true joy!
