A Washington DC Engagement Session

I love an engagement session location that captures part of your story!  Whether it is where you met, where you had your first date or where you are currently living – I love when the backdrop is more than a just a backdrop.   My newest favorite example of this is the delightful Washington DC engagement session of Nicole and Ben.

Adam and I are often in DC visiting my family, so this Washington DC engagement session HAD to happen.

The DC weather wasn’t exactly on board with our plans so, with little wiggle room left, we ignored the wicked cold snap, sought out the quickly disappearing cherry blossoms and had a blast with this wonderful couple.  The monuments, tidal basin and gorgeous architecture provided all the stunning settings we needed. I loved hearing about life for them in DC and how it is the setting for where they truly fell in love and started envisioning the future together.  What I love the most is that when they look back in a decade – the images will remind them of that time, that place and all those wonderful memories no matter where life takes them.

Over the last year our engagement sessions have taken us to NYC, Charleston, Del Ray Beach FL, DC and all over Atlanta! We can’t wait to see where they take us next.
