Gabriella + Chris | Flourish Wedding - The Decisive Moment Wedding Photojournalism

Gabriella and Chris were married on March 11 with a ceremony and reception at Flourish in Atlanta. Flourish is THE new hot venue here in Atlanta created by Legendary Events! Legendary is… well… Legendary and always does a beyond incredible job with event design, florals, décor and the entire production.

This wedding has every bit of the glitz and glam we love and a lot of heart to go with it. Gabby loves black and white; a dramatic mix of modern and classic; and all things Broadway, so her style was present in so many details of the day! I loved the drama of this event from the dress to the decor to the lighting and all the little touches. Gabby works as a model so she has an incredible presence in front of the camera. She took direction flawlessly and, with her style and grace, elevated every picture. Her dramatic style made this wedding so much fun to photograph! The setting, the dress, and the reception details were an incredible combination and effortlessly complemented one another. From her spectacular beaded cape to the programs designed to look like playbills, every detail of this wedding was luxe, stunning and perfectly executed.

Legendary never disappoints and has such an incredible way of taking a vision and pulling it together is such a dramatic, classy and beautiful way.

As for the heart, Gabby’s father passed away several years ago and several events commemorating her father were so touching. First, Gabby had a medallion made of him in a blue shirt which she attached to her bouquet. Secondly, a piece of that same blue shirt he wore in the photo was sewn into the bottom of her gown as her “something blue.” It was such a beautiful way for her to have her father there on this special day… The other moment that was SO emotional was Gabby dancing with her brother for what is traditionally the father-daughter dance. Her brother lived up to the task and the love on his face as they danced would make any father proud. It was gorgeous.

Atlanta is home to the famous Waffle House and of rapper, actor and CEO of Grand Hustle Records, T.I. So what could make a wedding more epically ATL than having both T.I. AND a Waffle House at the wedding?? Okay, okay, so… T.I. was a cardboard cut out- but his Hustle Gang (better known as the bridesmaids) was legit! We hear that Cardboard T.I. has been on board with this crew since the bachelorette party! The waffle house truck was the real deal, and such a fun way to end the night!

I love the dramatic look and feel of this wedding! Kerri with Toast Events was, as always, a delight to work with. Relaxed, confident and flawlessly prepared she made everything work like a dream. A great planner makes everyone’s life better and that is exactly what she did. Adam and Jason knocked it out of the park and really captured the style and feel of this event.
