This spring we were so happy to be back at the lovely Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. Callanwolde is a magnificent Tudor Revival mansion nestled in the heart of Druid Hills. It has beautiful grounds and gorgeous, lush gardens that make it a popular location for weddings, and a favorite of ours! We love this gorgeous venue because it is such a unique part of Atlanta’s rich history.
We were honored to capture Jenna and Jonathan’s lovely wedding on March 4, with Adam as the lead photographer.
Jenna and Jonathan met in homeroom their sophomore year of high school. The two became best friends and maintained that friendship all throughout college, talking every day, even though they were at two different schools in two different states. After graduation, they moved back to Atlanta and began dating that summer. After five years of dating, Jon proposed.
Callanwolde’s sweeping staircase made for a dramatic ceremony entrance and the chuppah was elegantly draped with florals by Darryl Wiseman. We love the string lights and draping in the reception area, it gave the whole room a dramatic touch.
Jenna and Jonathan had a beautiful celebration and seemed to soak in every second of the big day. Their cool, calm and joyous demeanor was thanks in part to an expertly orchestrated event by Elise Anne Woodward of Bliss Weddings and Events. Such a wonderful celebration to be a part of! Jenna and Jonathan, congratulations again and we wish you a lifetime of happiness.
