I loved receiving this sweet note from Jenna today! I am SO happy Jenna and Bryan will soon celebrate their first anniversary with album in hand so they can relive their beautiful celebration!
“I wanted to reach out and thank you, truly, for everything you have done for us the past year. You both were so helpful during some very high stress times. We cannot stop looking at our new album and going through all of the photos (again and again) on the flash drive! You really helped to capture our day, and I’m so appreciative.” -Jenna
It is so fun to look back on this gorgeous celebration! Jenna and Bryan had such an elegant wedding at The Ritz Carlton, Buckhead. Adam Linke and Melissa Bugg were on hand to capture their beautiful event. I love that this wedding was steeped in tradition, family, emotion and fun.
It has been a delight to see which images have become a part of her forever album. Jenna and Bryan designed a Contemporary Album and it is absolutely stunning. What I love about their engagement, their wedding and now, their album is how much thought and planning were involved. This couple was very intentional throughout each process, putting time and care into their decisions. This made for a very personal and well planned result, no matter what stage of wedding planning they tackled!
Jenna loves to say she is Bryan’s princess, so it seemed only fitting that their engagement take place by a castle. Since they both lived in NYC, Bryan researched possible locations in the area and discovered Belvedere Castle, conveniently located in Central Park. He decided May 24, 2015 was the day (an especially important day, as it was the birthday of Jenna’s late grandmother). Bryan got Jenna to that exact spot in the park (the castle looming impressively above them) under the guise they were going to a friend’s birthday picnic. When they got there, no one else was there except the two of them. After reciting a heartfelt, short speech, Bryan got down on one knee and asked his princess for her hand.
He presented her with the most gorgeous ring and upon realizing what was happening, Jenna said YES! Bryan had a friend concealed in the surrounding bushes to take photos of this special moment. After the significance of what had just happened sank in and they took a few pictures together, he suggested they then go up to the castle for a few more photos. Unbeknownst to Jenna, both of their families were up there, waiting to celebrate!
Their storybook love continued with their gorgeous wedding. Jenna looked every bit like a princess in her gown, and when she danced the skirts billowed out around her. The reception details by Andy Beach were superb – the floral arrangements were dripping with a blend of blooms and jewels and it was STUNNING! The rich colors and varied heights were absolutely fantastic and the crystals caught the candlelight in a way that made them sparkle and dance. There was an ice luge etched elegantly with Jenna and Bryan’s monogrammed insignia which acted as both a centerpiece as well as a way to serve deliciously icy shots and mixed drinks. It was a huge hit for everyone!
The thoughtful planning that the bride and groom put into this lovely event paid off in the smiles and laughter visible in every picture. I love the black and white image of Jenna and Bryan dancing, it seems to summarize the day perfectly: the elegance of her swinging gown, smiling friends and family and two newlyweds clearly having an absolute ball!
