Celebrating a Legacy of Love…. A Decade In Review

We have a tradition here at The Decisive Moment of using the last week of December to create our ‘year in review’ slideshow.  For a moment, we thought that this tradition would be yet another thing lost to 2020…. but then we realized this would be our 10th ‘year in review’ slideshow! 10 Years! 10 YEARS of pausing to celebrate images that document some of the most precious things in life – love, legacy, family and celebration. In that moment we decided that 2020 does not get to take another of our favorite things away!

So, we rolled up our sleeves, got to work and started pulling images not just from this year but from a decade of glorious Decisive Moment ‘year in review’ slideshows. On the first run through we were all so overcome with emotion!! I will tell you that one slideshow is not enough to share all the beauty, love and fun we have documented in this decade alone…. there are over 1100 images that we “picked” that would not fit!

What a gift to take this time to look back at all the celebrations, all the families, all the images that have filled the last 10 years.  We are so thankful for the honor of being asked to document these moments and for the incredible families that give us their trust. We also loved looking back at the gorgeous work of so many of our amazing industry friends who do such incredible work.

So as we look forward to 2021 we will not waste another moment lamenting what was lost this past year. Instead, we will focus on the legacy of love we have been documenting for far longer!  We can’t wait to get back to celebrating in the year ahead and wish you health, joy and love!
