A Wedding For One Of Our Own…. Congrats to Jes and Tim!

We had a little wedding of our own just recently at The Decisive Moment!  Our own photographer Jessica McGowan took a turn on the other side of the camera at her recent wedding!  As you can see, she made a STUNNING bride and created a beautiful celebration that truly reflected who she and Tim are as people.  The setting for the wedding ceremony was Oakland Cemetery…yes I said cemetery and it was gorgeous!  The cemetery had amazing history, was visually stunning and as stated by the officiant, was an amazing place to celebrate life and the importance of living it well while it is here.  I loved that Jes and Tim walked down the aisle hand in hand – together to make their commitment.  They turned the tradition of a get a way car on its ear as they escaped to the reception on Tim’s vintage motor bike!  The reception, held at Trees Atlanta, also reflected Jes and Tim’s style and sensibilities from the delicious vegetarian menu, the vintage accents to the ultimate pie bar!! The entire celebration was definitely a reflection of two wonderful individuals that we are so very thankful to work with on a weekly basis!  Congrats Jes & Tim!

Jes and Tim’s wedding was a great opportunity to work with many of the amazing wedding vendors that are part of The Atlanta Wedding Loft!  We LOVE the opportunity to work with this fantastic group of wedding professionals!  We can not thank you enough for going above and beyond for Jes!

Jes turned to dear friends and colleagues for her wedding photography.  Mark Adams was one of the founders of The Decisive Moment and Adam Linke was thrilled to document Jes’ wedding with him as he has been a friend and mentor to him.

Bouquet – A perfect match for Jes’ unique and vintage style – TULIP created a magnificent bouquet of succulents for the girl that wanted something other than flowers!

Makeup – POSH  Shayzon and Tymeka found the perfect balance of vintage and modern with Jes’ look!  Her makeup was flawless from beginning to end and she was gorgeous!

Hair – Krista Chase at Douglas & Company a gorgeous do that stayed put all night long! (you may recall the ride on the motor bike….. yep – hair was still fabulous!)

Catering – ZEST! – Dana and Hannah created a menu that really represented Jes and Tim but appealed to all their guests as well!  Everything was delicious, your staff was meticulous and the tables were SO pretty!  Incredible work and always SO fun to see you guys at an event!  Also, Zest provided all the lace linens, dishes and glasses.

Rentals – Peachtree Tents and Events – chairs, basic linens, dishes, decor and more…. you guys are the best!

Venue – Trees Atlanta – You have such a great space and the outdoor patio was gorgeous on this perfect night!  Thank you for being gracious hosts – we hope to see you again soon.

The Family Touch – Jes’ Uncle was the official officiant and Jes’ aunt made ALL the pies from their family recipes.  Delicious!
