Our favorite part of capturing this beautiful Piedmont Park wedding was documenting the genuine emotion between Christina and Matt! We are talking the kind of emotion where you know (I mean, you really know) that they’re in that in-for-the-long-haul kind of love.
Getting ready, Christina was calm, collected and shared a lot of laughs with her bridesmaids and the family. It was a very lighthearted atmosphere–one that illustrated a celebration of true love and the butterfly-type nerves that come with it.
“They were truly best friends,” lead photographer Jason Seagle observed once he photographed them together. “I have a number of great images of Christina leaning in close to Matt. You could see how comfortable they were with each other, and that’s not really something you can pose.”
The two chose Greystone at Piedmont Park for the party (an Atlanta wedding favorite for summer soirees), hosting a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the patio accented by gorgeous florals by Tulip! The ceremony was followed by a lively dance party (literally all of the guests were dancing, no matter how young or old), complete with root beer floats (a fun alternative to the traditional wedding cake) and King of Pops to celebrate.
We couldn’t keep all of the fun to ourselves, so check out a few of our favorites from Jason below!
